Tony Bew
1958-2018
It is with great sadness that we have learnt of Tony’s passing at the weekend. He had been fighting cancer for the past few years, during which time he had multiple treatments and surgery, which were initially successful. Sadly, however, the cancer returned aggressively. He died at Wexham Park Hospital. Tony had many interests outside of his work as a software engineer: sailing, rugby, social drinking as well as the Players. Tony was a leading figure in the Players and devoted much of his spare time to his numerous productions.
Ton’y funeral will be at 2.30 pm on 23 February 2018 at Slough Crematorium. He would have been 60 on his birthday.
Our next production will be dedicated to Tony.
