Musical opportunity

My name is Tom Everitt and I will be directing a production of the musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in 2018 at the Wycombe Arts Centre (the Arts4Every1 centre located in the centre of High Wycombe formerly St John’s Church). This is a fantastic venue and we hope to make this a successful production and something that involves members from many of the dramatic and operatic group’s local to the High Wycombe area.

We would like this to be a huge collective effort using talents both on stage and off stage from as many groups locally as possible. There are dozens of production roles available including singing, acting, dancing, orchestra members, backstage crew, set design, costume design, make-up, lighting, sound, set painting, prop making…the list goes on. This is a very popular musical that requires a large cast and production team so the more people we can get involved the better. Not only will this showcase the potential of the Arts Centre but also the huge amount of talent that the groups fromthe Wycombe District have to offer.

Dates of auditions will be available soon for those hoping to be involved on stage and for anyone looking to be involved in another capacity please have them contact me to put their name forward for the type of production role they are interested in.
The performance dates will be 13th, 14th and 15th September 2018 with rehearsals running from late Spring and throughout the summer and into early September. So, what I would like to ask is for you to forward this information to all of the members in your group. Let them know what we are doing and what we are looking for. In regards to the lead roles there will be auditions and we will make this information available nearer the time but  for anyone who would like more information then please have them contact me by emailing thomaseveritt@btinternet.com
