	Graham Evans Stage Manager Graham has been with us for a year. As stage manager, he has been beavering away in the studio and will be beavering away backstage to ensure that all the cast don’t miss any of their entrances.
	Christine Parker Properties Christine is now a seasoned props procurer and organiser. She started with “A Murder is Announced” and has been instrumental in each production ever since.
	Rod Paterson Sound Rod first turned his hand to sound effects in 1999 for “The Weekend” after his first and last appearance onstage in “On the Razzle”. Rod’s abilities are not stretched in this production so he’ll probably miss both of his cues.
	Suze Ward Prompt/Assistant Director Suze is normally on stage but work commitments early in production prevented her from taking a part. However, as prompt, she has been instrumental in keeping the actors in the right bit of the plot.
	Olive Smith Front of House Olive has recently retired as President of the Players, but is none the less in the thick of the production organising advertising, PR, acting as our telephone box office and running the front of house. She has an odd idea of retirement.
	Graham Everett Lighting Despite his youthful looks, Graham has been with the players for nearly 20 years, on and off. He has been our main lighting man since 2001. He has acted on stage but prefers the anonymity and the view from the lighting box.

In Order of Appearance

	Jeremy Winthrop *Chris Richards* Chris first appeared with the Players as Will Mossop in “Hobson’s Choice” where his natural comic timing stood him in good stead for the part of Jeremy Winthrop. Initially daunted by playing the lead he has stuck at it and discovered that acting is not just “saying the words and not bumping into the furniture” – sometimes the furniture needs to know who is boss!
	Celia Winthrop *Pip Stacey* Pip started with the Marlow Players two years ago making her debut in “A Murder is Announced“ where she played the scene-stealing maid Mitzi. She has been in every production since and last played the energetic Trixie Martin in “Daisy Pulls it Off”. As Celia Winthrop she is out energised by Jeremy Winthrop, so he gets the backstage oxygen this time.
	Humphrey Jessel *Brian Couling* Brian is in his 13^th year with the Players and last appeared in “Daisy Pulls it Off” as the Schwarzeneggeresque music teacher Mr Scoblowski. This time he does not get a chance to show off his many accents but gets to do his now infamous Swiss Tony impression. Brian is a former chairman of the Players and has had many roles over the years, the majority of which have been as leads.
	Sara Ward *Wendy Bailey* Wendy is our current secretary and has appeared both on and backstage for some years now and last appeared on stage as Sybil Burlington in “Daisy Pulls it Off”. Here she plays the part of Sara Ward, hesitantly having an affair with her husband’s partner convincing herself that it will do her marriage good.
	Peregrine Ward *James Taylor* This is James’ first time with the Players but he has appeared on numerous occasions for other local groups. We welcome him to The Players and to the role of Peregrine Ward, the stuffy and embarrassed lawyer embarking on an illicit liaison with his partner’s wife.
	Thelma Jessel *Sara Vaz* Sara has been in The Players for 10 years on and off and last appeared as Belinda Mathieson in “Daisy Pulls it Off!” As Thelma Jessel, she casts aside her demure, schoolgirl image and dons her vamp persona, a bit too convincingly.
	Syd Clancy *Bernard Rogers* Our most senior cast member plays the inebriated odd job man, Syd Clancy. Bernard last appeared as the bullying Dr. MacFarlane in “Hobson’s Choice”. He gets to avoid the onstage mayhem but manages to put the odd wrench in the works.
