Dear Everyone,
Thanks to all who helped make our New Year party (last night – 13th January 2017) such a success. People made food, decorated the Garden Room, provided musical entertainment, a quiz and game of Charades! It was great fun – costumes (the theme was ‘Pantomime’) were excellent and the atmosphere very happy!
Sunday morning a team consisting of Caroline, Brian, Andrew and myself cleared out The Studio in order to lay a carpet covering the whole floor area. It was quite a task, so I should like to thank them all for working so hard to make such a great improvement to our rehearsal space. The Studio now looks very smart with its fitted carpet, which should act as excellent insulation during these cold spells. Several passers-by looked with interest at our motley collection of furniture, as it stood outside, but we had to disappoint them and say that our sideboard, table, chairs, etc… were not for sale!
Rehearsals continue apace and you are welcome to come along and see progress. We have a super cast and I know the production will be wonderful! The play is very funny!!
Don’t forget that we welcome anyone to join us on our weekend in France, 21st – 23rd April. If we don’t see you before, please come along and see the play (with friends, family, workmates, etc….) from 30th March to 1st April.
